Artwork Guidelines
For Optimal output we recommend art files to be created in the following applications:
Acrobat PDF
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Please make sure to “Embed” your graphics and images, and outline your fonts if providing a native file.
We do accept the following file types as well, however, if they are not saved as PDF, file changes may occur without prompt:
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
The preferred file format is a print-ready PDF. For all artwork, a minimum of 300 DPI is recommended for optimal output.
Artwork Submission
You can send your order and art file(s) to us through email, our website, or drop them off to one of our stores in person. Please reference your account, order number, or job name when doing so.
Electronic Proofs:
We will send an electronic proof free, and if a hard copy proof is requested for color-critical or complex jobs, we will produce 1 hard copy proof free. If you require multiple proofs, additional fees may apply.
Electronic proof colors may vary slightly from the computer screen to the paper.
Please review your proof carefully for misspelling, layout design, and graphical errors.
For Graphic Design orders, we will allow 1 free change after your proof, and if additional changes are required then additional graphic design fees may apply.
Order production time begins after proof approval and payment has been received.
For viewing electronic proofs, please check the Adobe Reader or Acrobat settings under:
"Edit" /"Preferences" / "Page Display" are as follows:
Uncheck "Enhance thin lines"
Set "Use Overprint Preview" to "Always"
Creating Your Files
When you're ready to place your order, follow these guidelines to ensure we receive our art files and for the best results:
Make sure your file(s) are sized and colored correctly using CMYK in your document settings.
Graphics and text should be sized at 100%
All supporting graphic file(s) used within your layout must be embedded with your layout file and placed at 100%.
If you are using bleeds in your artwork, please provide a ⅛” bleed on all sides of your file.
Order Refusal
Professionalism as a company is important to us, so we reserve the right to refuse to print anything that we consider profane or Immoral.
Photo and Art Authorization
Don't use copyrighted artwork without permission. To avoid legal trouble due to copyright infringement, please provide written authorization from the owner.
Print Ready Artwork
Print Ready Artwork is defined as artwork that is provided to us meeting all the requirements above and needs no adjustment from a file manipulation standpoint.
